    You will find a wide variety of living options with services based on the level of care you need and desire. Costs for services are tiered, and range from Level 1 (very little assistance) to Level 5 (high-acuity care).

    Big Stone Therapies is on the third floor of The Commons, offering in-home visits and services to the residents of The Village of Harmony Hill.


    Thanks to a collaboration with Prairie Lakes Healthcare, The Village of Harmony Hill is now offering fully-furnished rooms dedicated to a hospice or short-term rehab stay. For more information, please call 605.878.4700.

    Did you know that The Village offers High Acuity Care (ADLs, diabetic management, etc)? In some cases, transferring to an assisted living, like The Village, could be more affordable if the rehabilitation days are not covered by Medicare. Hospital social workers are wonderful resources to help make these decisions for your family.

    Tovertafel Games for Seniors Living With Dementia

    The Tovertafel (“magic table”), promotes more joyful, social connections for seniors living with dementia through its wide range of interactive games. Developed with seniors and care professionals, these games are designed to suit different stages of dementia and times of the day, such as family visits and sundowning.

    We were also gifted HUG–an innovative therapeutic tool designed specifically for individuals living with dementia.

    HUG offers a bridge to comfort, connection, and improved quality of life for our memory care residents. Our trained staff uses expert-developed techniques to introduce HUG, ensuring each resident receives personalized care that meets their unique needs.

     We've found that HUG can offer:

    • A sense of comfort and security
    • Stimulation of the senses
    • A calming presence, especially during times of stress
