    Gifts of any size to The Village contribute to building a vibrant and unique senior living community. We offer a variety of giving tools to help people support The Village of Harmony Hill. You can make a gift of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, Individual Retirement Accounts, life insurance, or other assets to support our charitable mission. Most charitable gifts qualify for maximum tax advantage under federal law. You may give a single donation or consider a gift in another way (see options below).

    To donate to The Village, please mail or bring your gift to 2527 Prairie Park Trail SE, Door I,  Watertown, SD 57201. Make checks payable to The Village of Harmony Hill. Gifts also may be given through secure online donations using the donation form. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card.  
    In-Kind Gifts

    In-Kind Gifts

    Gifts-in-kind are gifts of tangible personal property that are voluntarily transferred by a donor to The Village of Harmony Hill without compensation. These gifts include equipment, vehicles, grain, supplies, artwork, building materials, and other personal property. 


    Please fill out a Gift-In-Kind Form if you wish to donate an in-kind gift to The Village. You can return your completed form:

    Matching Gifts

    Make it Count: Matching Funds

    Many employers have matching gift programs which can multiply your generous gift to The Village. If you or your spouse work for or are retired from an organization with a matching gifts program, please ask your human resources department for the appropriate form and include it with your gift.
    Memorial & Tribute Gifts

    Memorial or Tribute Donations

    Making a gift to The Village in memory or honor of loved ones creates a lasting tribute to their legacy, while also ensuring that high-quality, affordable care is available to seniors in our community. Dollars raised through dedicatory gifts support the establishment and operation of The Village.

    A variety of opportunities are available for families to celebrate the life of a loved one through gifts that also support The Village and our mission:

    • Create a lasting memorial gift.
    • Request gifts to The Village by including the following in obituaries: “In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Village of Harmony Hill, 2527 Prairie Park Trail SE, Door I,  Watertown, SD", or give online.
    • Consider an estate gift to The Village through planned giving.

    Leave a Legacy

    You might want to leave money to The Village in your will or living trust. This could be a perfect option for you if you also want the flexibility to change your will in the event that life circumstances change. In as little as one sentence, you can complete your gift. This type of donation to The Village in your will or living trust helps ensure that we continue our mission for years to come.

    There are several vehicles for planned giving available to consider, including:

    ·      Charitable IRA rollover

    ·      Stocks, bonds, or mutual funds

    ·      Tangible property such as livestock, grain, or art

    ·      Intangible property such as patents or copyrights

    ·      Real estate such as land or property

    Pledge to Donate

    How to make a pledge

    Pledge forms are available throughout the year. Return your completed form by:

    • Mailing or bringing to 2527 Prairie Park Trail SE, Door I, Watertown, SD 57201 | (Attn: Director of Finance)
    • email finance@watertownbenedictines.org

    Pledge commitments must be in writing using the Pledge Form, signed by the donors, and include pledge amount, duration, and *payment schedule; and gift designation, purpose, and restrictions, if any.

    * Installments must be made over a three-year period.
